and then a bunch of you yelled at me for not telling you the book sale was coming up

bad news
i have finally given in and have a date tomorrow.
yesterday was my sisters 17th birthday, which is good, becasue it makes her less of a jailbait for her boyfriend. its weird. shes always going to be the anoying brat who took over my room when she was born and then broke my barbie house when she was four.
she also liked (and still does) to talk alot. i'm not much of a talker, so that was pretty anoying too.
i really have nothing of value to add to this post. like, theres a ton of little things that i could rant about but it would be pretty boring.
oh.. i also might be loosing my job in the near future.
thanks walmart! fucking over little stores everywhere. if a walmart opens across from my mall we're completley fucked. who would pay $12.99 for one hour processing, or $0.79-$0.29 for digital prints when at walmart you can get a shitty automated job done, and pay like $0.18! fucking automated printers, you prints will look like shit people :|
or, we might also be moving out of our current store, and into the T&T area. uh, no thanks. having grown up around chinese grocery stores, i know what that will mean. i have no desire to work pretty much in a chinese grocery store. good thing i breathe out of my mouth not my nose, as i would probably pass out.

i think i may dye my hair tonight. even though i dyed it like, two weeks ago. when i dye my hair a darker brown than my real colour, it shouldnt end up fading super fast into this sick looking lighter brown. black hair here i come!
and its another long weekend in a row, but becasue i already get mondays off (fridays too) it makes no difference to me
but this weekend i have to suffer through thanksgiving :| fucking hell. i hate thanksgiving. and i hate people. and i hate family (well, extended family) and i hate turkey.
the only good thing is pumpkin pie. there better be pumpkin pie.
at least its just my family, my aunt and cousins, and my brothers gf. i can play the homework card and stay in my room until i have to suffer through the stupid meal.
i should become vegetarian.
or move out.
or come down with a really really really bad cold before sunday.

how do you get a virus thats only spread through microsoft outlook and spread my being stupid and opening e-mails, when you dont even have outlook on your computer, and you havent opened any evil e-mails recently?
becasue really, this is getting just a little bit anoying. maybe more than a little bit. to the point of wanting to throw my computer which i have loved up until this point, straight out the window.
this isnt very funny.

so... its been a month
i've decided, that i'm not really a fan of the internet anymore
its like a chore... i have to come on every day, beacsue i have so many msgs that need checking, and things that need replies to, and things to read
it shouldnt be a chore
so i've been awol
and i'm going awol again probably
i read over 10 books this week
thats 7 more books than i read the entire summer last summer
i'm going to my cottage for a few days next week

back in january '04, when i was still using Blogger as my online
journal (it was such a emo trash tennybopper journal that its
embarrassing to look at now)
but i braved the embarrassment of looking at my blog (ok, i just logged
in and used the search button, whatever) in order to find this most
awesome post ever
i somehow had stumbled upon the seriously, best worst Orlando Bloom
FanFic EVER! i swear, there is little that can compare to this in its
awesomeness... and still, two years later, it cracks me up so much
this fic was part of a fic challenge, where the requirements were,
Write a story in which Orlando receives an anonymous love letter,
inside of which an all expense 1-day only trip to Rome has been paid
for. Pretend that Orlando must take the trip and meet this anonymous
person. The usual requirements apply. Good luck!
and the fic went like this,
"one
sunny day in canterburry uk orlando usely doing the normal thing
walking aroud his nabourhood when out of no were he bumps into this
pritty girl named brittany out of no were it starts to ran so he give
her his jacket to were so she won't get sick they both run under a roof
to keep dry!He looks at her and she looks back and with her blue eyes

my christmas tree just fell over
it amuses me, that after trying to fix the base with like, 20 different
kinds of clamps, my dad can just say 'ok' and go build a new base in
under 5 mins... that rocks

i have never cared about new years... i never do anything anywyas..
when i was younger it was all becasue all the cool kids had parties,
and i sat at home with my parents...
but, i have now defended my trivial pursuit title that i won on
christmas eve! and i'd had two coolers, and a glass of wine, and was
blanking out on the stupid baseball questions.. which is funny, becasue
last time i won because of the baseball questions. its funny that i
keep winning, i'm the person who knows the least about inane sports,
literature, news, science and geography things, and a lot about
entertainment.. but this was the stupid 20th aniversary canadian
edition, so it also involved a shitload of inane canadian questions,
that 99% of canadians wouldnt get
whatever...
though, my mom, got the easiest question, and it was killing me, and she didnt get it right!!
it was a literaure one, and it went 'who is Petunia Dursley's famous nephew'
like, come on!!!!
and, my mom works in a book store, and LOVES the harry potter books

Dragonette - Competition |

so, back in january, Emily and i went to a Scissor Sisters concert,
which also happened to be on like, the coldest day ever
so, when we got inside, you actually enjoyed the crush of all the
people around you, becasue that meant that you were warm, and being
warm rocks
but, apart from the crush of some very awesome gay guys around us, the opening act, who we'd never heard of, rocked
after the concert, i searched for any info i could find on this bad,
called The Fuzz, but only found one reference to them, in the form of a
review for the concert, also some of the guys around us had said that
the guitar player and the singer were married, and i found out that
they were Dan Kurtz and Martina Sorbara
but i still couldnt find anything on The Fuzz at all.. it was rather anoying..
but i did find some of Martina Sorbara's solo stuff (she did that
rather anoying song "Spinning around" from the Uptown Girls movie
today, totaly randomly, i found The Fuzz
or rather, as they are now called, Dragonette
they changed their stupid name on me!
but... i was able to download two songs from their website :)
and they are still fucking awesome

Overall, I've been naughty (-175 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich!
